The Best of Raise Healthy Eaters 2013 (and What’s Coming in 2014)

As the New Year comes to a close I wanted to take some time to reflect on 2013 while making new goals for 2014.

First off, I want to thank you for your continued support. Last year Fearless Feeding and it has been quite a ride. But now it’s time for some new goals and direction.

I want to spend 2014 revamping the way I plan, shop and prepare meals at home. I’ve already started making some changes to help simplify the process. Later in 2014 both my kids will be in school and things will change. There will be more activities and our schedule will become more packed. I will no longer have the luxury of leisurely prepping dinner so I need to be better organized with meals.

I also want to tweak meals to make them my own, instead of trying a recipe and then giving up because it didn’t turn out. So I will be spending a good portion of my time trying different food combinations. I have my “bucket list” of meals I’m determined to pull off in the new year. I’ll blog about these experiences, posting some recipes and saving others for an ebook.

Because I will be talking less about feeding strategies (but won’t stop entirely as it is one of my fave topics!), I’m going to post my top ten tips for new readers who come along. That will be coming soon!

My other goal is a more personal one. Some of you may remember my resolution last year to meditate. Well, it didn’t last too long and I apologize for dropping the ball.

I had a few things happen this year that made me realize that I need to slow down, including my mind which has always gone a mile a minute. It’s one of those things I’ve wanted to do for so long, I feel like if I don’t do it now then I might never do it. There will never be a good time and now certainly isn’t. But in my heart of hearts, I feel this is the right thing to do.

But before moving forward, let’s look back a bit. Below are my top 10 articles of 2013:
